W.O. Bentley motor cars have been in Alistair's family for many years. As a result of this, Alistair has been responsible for all maintenance, major component rebuild & competition preparation, developing his own upgrades along the way.

 

Fascinated by the engineering of these remarkable machines and achievements of the early daredevils who piloted them to victory, Alistair has a real passion for Vintage Bentleys.

As an example of his recent work, Alistair rebuilt a Bentley rear differential overnight before competing in the Kidston Trophy at Silverstone Classic and VSCC Prescott the following week. Alistair not only completed these events trouble-free, but picked up an award in each.

Engine

 

Engine rebuilt in house. 4.5 block with raised compression & gas flowed ports, billet steel shell bearing crank, I-beam con rods and forged pistons. Lightweight cone clutch flywheel, inlet manifold for twin 2" SU carbs and anti-surge oil scavenge. Resulting power output is greater than a factory 4.5 "Blower" Supercharged Model.

Hydraulic front back plate (dual circuit), CNC machined cooling vents with laser cut mesh plates and re-lined shoes with improved friction material.
